Helping pharmaceuticals create FDA approved multimedia educational products that help get their message across to doctors and nurses.
One of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies was running a Medical Education campaign at a trade show and wanted to give visiting doctors and nurses an MP3 player loaded with multi-media educational content. As there are many regulations regarding ‘gifts’ to doctors, SZCEIT needed to customize the firmware of the product so that it would pass FDA (American – ‘Food and Drug Administration’) regulations as an ‘educational device’ rather than as a gift. Working with our clients, SZCEIT was able to modify the functional of the MP3 so that it successfully passed FDA testing.
Due to the complexity of this order and working around the FDA schedule, the production was delayed and the products were at risk of missing the trade show. So one day before the show began SZCEIT sent a employee on a commercial flight from Hong Kong carrying 4000 MP3 players as check-in baggage. Customs clearance was done at the destination airport and the products arrive in time for the trade show. When Clients need results, even in the most unlikely circumstance, SZCEIT finds a way to make it happen.
